Book Of The Day

Well, I'm dying to intro a book that I've read! For the ladies who dreams about hitting the big city with a wild dream! You need to have this book in your book list. It's a great book and I would like to be in her shoes! Well, except for the divorce part... This lady had been thru a lot in her life! She struggle and work hard for a job that she is dying to be in.

Confession of a City Girl
Don't worry if you are the only girl who stands over the boys. You are outstanding enough to make it all to just get over there.

City Girl landed her first job in the City of London in 2004, rose fast through the banking ranks and was frequently the only girl on her team. She has traded bonds and derivatives in some of the most competitive and testosterone-filled offices on earth. She loves it, hates it and remembers every last detail. In 2008 she started writing the weekly 'City Girl' column in thelondonpaper - the same slot as the hugely popular City Boy column that led to Geraint Anderson's best-selling book of the same name.

I first pick out this book is because of it's cover and title. Seems like it ain't bad at all to judge a book by it's cover. =) It all happens in London and Canary Wharf are most mention in it. While I was reading it, I can't stop imagine the places that had been mention in this book. The River Thames, high building that you could get in Canary, guys with expensive suits and also bars; in which would be crowded from afternoon till the evening.

Fresh from writing "The London" paper's "City Girl" column, our heroine gives us the inside track on life in the financial capital of the world. This is her story. She's here to tell us what went wrong - and why the girls are the only ones who can put it right.
